Nicole's journey into the world of design began with her deep-rooted connection to the beauty and tranquility of the New Jersey coast. Growing up by the water, Nicole cultivated a love for the calm, casual ambiance that coastal living represents. This love inspired her artistic pursuits, leading her to art classes and a passion for creating visually appealing spaces. After leaving the art program at Monmouth University, Nicole gained valuable experience in the marine construction industry, giving her a firsthand understanding of the construction process and a keen eye for practical design solutions. Driven by her dual passions for art and construction, Nicole pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Kean University, where she honed her skills and developed a sophisticated aesthetic sensibility.

Nicole's career took her to California, where she gained experience designing model homes for national home builders in master-planned communities. Designing these life-sized displays presented her with the opportunity to showcase the potential of a space and help buyers visualize their dream homes. This experience fostered her ability to translate client visions into tangible realities. After returning to New Jersey in 2008, Nicole established Coastal Decor and Interior Design, a space where she could combine her love for interiors with her direct connection to clients.
