Our History

Our journey began in 1970, when our founder started Kevin Cordes and Associates. Prior to that, he worked at John Wanamaker's in the display department, where he developed a keen sense of artistic expression and the importance of packaging a look to attract potential buyers. In 1971, he was approached by a local builder who was impressed by his architectural window displays, and he was hired to design a sales center for what was to become the first condominium conversion in Pennsylvania.

This project marked the beginning of our commitment to creating spaces that not only reflect the needs and wants of our clients but also provide a cohesive vision from layout to customization and selection of all materials. We believe in the power of collaboration and the importance of educating our clients throughout the design process.

• Full Documentation AutoCAD and Hand Drawn: Once a direction is established, we'll draw up specific plans, laying out the space and reviewing the relationship of everything in the space with you.
• Architectural Detailing: Develop plans for custom cabinetry, paneling, molding, doors & trim, and other architectural elements, collaborating with architects and builders as needed.
• Full Specifications: Prepare specifications for electrical fixtures, appliances, plumbing, HVAC grills, and other necessary elements, coordinating with architects, builders, and subcontractors.
• Interior Decorating and Expediting: Prepare floorcovering, paint, wallcovering, and drapery plans, as well as tile and stone specifications, and ensure all elements are tracked, received, inspected, and installed.
• Furnishings and Accessories: Select furnishings, fabrics, accessories, rugs, art, and other elements that reflect your personal style and complement your space.
