Firestride Media's journey began in 2009 in Los Angeles, where I, Alan Rugh, founded the company under the name Rughster. It was a time when Flash ruled the internet, and my initial focus was on creating innovative Flash-based animations and rich media ads.

The move to Bandwidth Junkies in 2010 signaled a shift towards embracing the full potential of the internet. We established a solid reputation for delivering cutting-edge website and advertising solutions, using Flash as the primary tool.

The desire to be closer to family brought us back to the east coast in 2011. We settled in Maryland and after a year of refining our offerings, Firestride Media was born in 2012. The new name symbolized a fresh start, reflecting the evolution of the industry and our own growth as a creative force.
