Our Story
Mohindroo Interiors is a full-service design firm founded by Lisa Mohindroo, a passionate and experienced interior designer. With over 14 years of experience in the industry, Lisa has mastered the art of designing homes that are both beautiful and functional. Her journey in interior design began when she was just a little girl, inspired by her Aunt and late grandmother, Mimi, who could transform any ordinary room into something spectacular. This childhood memory sparked a passion that she didn't know was inside and began exploring the world of interior design as a profession.
Before pursuing a career in interior design, Lisa graduated with a degree in Psychology from St. Norbert College in DePere, Wisconsin. However, she soon realized that it wasn't her true calling and decided to follow her passion for design. She went back to school to get her degree and has been dedicated to creating inspiring and electrifying career in the design world ever since.

How We Work
At Mohindroo Interiors, we follow a structured process to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service. Our process consists of three phases: Discovery, Concept, and Installation.
Discovery Phase
During the Discovery Phase, we have an Initial Consultation with our clients to discuss the scope of their project, goals, priorities, timeline, and budget. We dive right into these discussions to help our clients allocate their dollars effectively, manage their expectations for the timeline, and ultimately complete a sophisticated and timeless home for them and their family.
After the Initial Consultation is completed, we provide our clients with a detailed list of the scope of work, an overview of the project budget and timeline, and other crucial details on what to expect moving forward.
Concept Phase
During the Concept Phase, we develop a working design concept for our clients' project, which entails furniture layouts, material layouts, elevations, millwork elevations, lighting plan, color palette, furnishing & material selections, light selections, and accessory placement.
Installation Phase
The final step is the Installation Phase, where we work hard to ensure that the best workrooms, contractors, and vendors are sourced and selected to ensure that our clients' jobs are completed to the highest quality and finish. We also understand that problems may arise during this phase and make sure that we take the time to assess the problem, communicate it with our clients, and help solve it in a timely and professional manner.
