Our journey began when Albert Hugo arrived in Jacksonville, Florida, and decided to put his skills as a decorator, cabinet maker, and upholsterer to use. With the help of his wife, Euna, who was a skilled hat maker, Albert set up his first shop in the dock house of Arthur Cummer's Tudor-style mansion on Riverside Avenue. As the business grew, so did our reputation for providing exceptional interior design and furniture craftsmanship.
Today, Hugo's Fine Furniture and Interiors is still family-owned and operated, with our fourth generation of Hugo family members at the helm.
