At Winchester Printers, we are a family-owned and operated business with a rich history that spans over 100 years. Our company was founded by George F. Norton and Thomas M. Hiltzheimer in 1892, initially operating as The George F. Norton Publishing Company, which offered a variety of commercial printing services. Over the years, we have undergone several name changes, including Winchester Printers and Stationers, Inc., Pifer Printing and Stationery, and finally, Winchester Printers, Inc., under the leadership of the Hottle family.

Our Capabilities

Our capabilities are diverse and extensive, encompassing everything from pre-press to printing and beyond. Our pre-press department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing us to efficiently and accurately produce high-quality prints. Our press room is home to a range of sheet-fed presses, from the Heidelberg Speedmaster 74 to the Heidelberg Windmill, each designed to meet the specific needs of our clients. Our bindery department is equipped with an array of equipment, including MBO folders, guillotine cutters, and automatic stackers, enabling us to provide superior finishing services.

Digital Printing

Our digital department is equipped to handle a wide range of projects, from simple short-run printing to complex variable data printing. Our digital presses, including the Heidelberg Versafire CP and EP, and the HP SCITEX FB500 Hybrid Large Format, allow us to produce high-quality prints quickly and efficiently.

Signage

Our signage department utilizes a 4-color plus light cyan and light magenta, hybrid UV machine that can print on almost any rigid or flexible material up to 2.5 inches thick. This technology, combined with our skilled pre-press department, provides an unbeatable signage solution.

Proofing Options

We understand the importance of proofing in the printing process. That's why we offer a range of proofing options, including soft low-resolution and high-resolution PDF's, Epson proofs, and Heidelberg digital proofs.
