Born into a family brimming with artistic talent, creativity has been an integral part of my life since I was a tiny toddler wielding crayons with unbridled enthusiasm. While my canvases have evolved from the walls of my childhood home to the digital realm, art and design have remained my lifelong passion, a close second only to being a mother.

With nearly two decades of experience in graphic design and visual culture, I've had the privilege of collaborating with clients to bring their businesses and stories to life. This rewarding journey led me to establish Urban Root Creative, where I strive to make a meaningful impact through my designs and business practices.

My commitment to our community runs deep, deeply interwoven with my belief in the power of design for social good. As an active participant in the United Way, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative potential we possess as individuals and as a collective. When I'm not immersed in the world of design, research, or attempting to manage my three children's relentless Zoom meetings, you can find me exploring the wonders of Wisconsin with my husband. Door County, with its breathtaking state parks, abundance of outdoor activities, and delectable cuisine, holds a special place in our hearts.

My diverse background encompasses experience working within in-house marketing teams, a design agency, and leading the creative direction of a prominent construction firm. This multifaceted journey has provided me with a unique perspective, allowing me to offer valuable insights gained from both sides of the creative process.

I am wholeheartedly invested in each client's success, dedicating time to understand their needs and goals. Thorough research is a cornerstone of my process, ensuring that every detail shared by my clients is thoughtfully reflected in the final design. And ultimately, I derive immense joy from the work I do!

As a sixth-generation Madisonian, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community that has profoundly shaped my personal and professional life.
