Welcome to The Black Goose Design, where creativity and functionality intersect. Our journey began in the early 1900s, in a brick building that was once home to the Sharon Steel Corporation. Today, this historic building houses our charming interior design firm and furniture showroom.

Nancy Long, a visionary entrepreneur, purchased the building in 1985. Nancy, who founded Gardner Village, located just a half mile west, initially opened Country Furniture & Gifts (now known as CF Home) in the old Gardner flour mill in 1980. The Black Goose Design was born after customers requested a wider selection of home decor and the assistance of interior designers.

Our business philosophy, like our mother's, is centered around offering a unique, extensive selection of high-quality home furnishings and decor combined with exceptional full-service design. We take pride in our team of highly skilled and talented award-winning interior designers.
