Our Story

Our journey began with Fred's passion for interior design and his extensive experience in the field. With over 20 years of experience, Fred has honed his skills as a designer, manager, and expert in his field. Prior to founding fma Interior Design, he worked for Home & Garden Television (HGTV) and was a sought-after kitchen and bathroom designer at some of Chicago's most prestigious showrooms. Fred's expertise has earned him numerous accolades, including the National Grand Prize for kitchen design and being named a Houzz.com "Kitchen of the Week."
